Well! It's been almost a month since I've even viewed my blog at all. I certainly haven't wanted to be away from it this long because so much has happened that I'd truly love to post about it--but alast, time doesn't permit it too often.
It's been a roller coaster ride of a month. Oliver ran away two days before the Chili Cook Off so I had been extremely depressed. My cousin let him out and for all I know, he really didn't care. Mark, the love of my life was searching high and low for him. I was so exhausted with missing him I couldn't look anymore. But, eventually my cousin Kimberly and Mark found Oliver in the second story of our back neighbors garage. So, I had gotten up on a latter and coaxed him out--very frightened little kitty but he was happy to see me. A day after getting home he was geared for running away again. I hope we can break him of this habit. He was fixed at 5 months so I'm not sure where the behavior is from.
Oh, I haven't forgotten the big news though. Mark asked me to marry him and of course I said yes. We already have promise rings so it wasn't necessary to get another ring to ask me. Besides, he knew I was going to say yes. I think I was irritating him though...by constantly talking about marriage. The date is hopefuly going to be in May of 2013. But, we'll see. Those things change with vendors.
So, from here on out, I am going to start planning the wedding. I feel there is absolutely nothing wrong with saving up for it and preplanning a year in advance. It makes things go smoother!
